When studying for my master's in the Interpretation of the Classical Guitar I was interested in developing in the field of electronic music (Computer Music). Referred to as computer music due to the computers central position in the study of electronic music. And being selected to study the Masters course in Computer music, I was amongst a special group of students at the Peabody Computer Music Department at the University of Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, Maryland. After finishing several years of intense studies I mastered all the techniques of Musical Digital and Midi Production.
I encourage you to learn everything related to this innovative and fascinating field:
- Techniques of the Edition of Digital Sound, Mixing and Sound Effects in Cubase 5 and Adobe Audition platforms, among others.
- Musical Programming Languages (DSP) like Max-Msp and Native Instruments Reactor 5.
- Midi concepts and the Music Software such as: Reason and Ableton Live 8.
- The edition and mixing of video and film with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Musical Notation with Finale and Sibelious software
The following work, 300 Measures, features different techniques and audio effects, and it's completely conducted with software without utilizing recordings of any type.
Dedicated to the memory of venezuelan pianist and composer Ricardo Briceño.
